Luxembourg Steel used in Freedom Tower
Luxembourg steel manufactured by Arcelor S.A. is going to be used in a high-rise office building called the Freedom Tower in lower Manhattan as part of the plan to redevelop the seven-hectare site of the former World Trade Center Twin Towers.

San Francisco Symphony opens 2nd season at Luxembourg’s “Philharmonie”
On September 13th, the San Francisco Symphony, under Music Director Michael Tilson Thomas, appeared in Luxembourg’s “Philharmonie” Concert Hall, for a performance of Mahler’s Symphonie No. 8. After a memorable success, and a standing ovation by the public, the Orchestra continued to Lucerne,
Switzerland for another 3 concerts.

Economic Freedom Index
NEW YORK, New York, January 16, 2006 -- The Year 2006 Heritage Foundation/Wall Street Journal's annual Index of Economic Freedom, the twelfth anniversary edition of the Index, has ranked Luxembourg the fourth freest economy in the world. In the latest survey Luxembourg’s ranking, following only Hong Kong (1); Singapore (2); and Ireland (3); places it ahead of the United States (9); United Kingdom (5) and the Netherlands (16). The index compiles economic data on 161 countries, analyzed by Heritage Foundation economists and Wall Street Journal editors.
